Although I grew up in St. Clair Shores, my family spent summers at our cottage in Metamora. Three years ago, my wife and I retired and became permanent residents of Metamora. I am the proud father of two and grandfather of four, and will be married 50 years this September.
For the previous 40 years, I worked in the trucking industry in both union and non-union environments. I was a part of the supply-chain solution before the term became fashionable.
I was motivated to run for office for the first time because I was appalled at the lack of choice in my new district. Although I haven’t been involved in the political sphere previously, I have done my best to stay informed. I believe people deserve a choice on their ballot and representatives who hold similar viewpoints.
